Wallace Gilberry
For a guy that isn't a starter I found this stat pretty amazing.

"Wallace Gilberry was one of two 3-4 defensive ends to produce 40 or more "quarterback disruptions" in 2010, according to Pro Football Focus.
Gilberry isn't much of a run defender, so the Chiefs smartly played over 75 percent of his snaps on passing downs. With Glenn Dorsey, Ron Edwards, Tyson Jackson, and Shaun Smith faring much better as run-stoppers, Gilberry fills a much-needed niche in the defensive line rotation. He'll be back on a second-round tender in 2011."

We all like Gilberry. Gilberry is cool with all of us.

If we were still running a 4-3, it seems like he would now be our starting end on one side or the other.

He's the classic try hard guy, willing himself to something great, he's my new 'Top' Jimmy Wilkerson.

I'd also give a lot of credit for his success to Romeo, for the way he was schemed in. Oh BTW, i have an *Official* crush on Romeo, talk about Instant Impact from a coach. He's got very much non-prototype for the position guys like Smith & Gilberry fitting in nicely, blending formations, not being predictable, blending in 2 rookie safeties, coached DJ to a career year, put some real respect back into the Chiefs D... the accolades go on for Romeo.

The D is inches away from being a true force to be feared.
