Disappointing, if only because I wanted Texas to be completely exposed for the terrible team they are this year. I'm long past really caring whether KU football itself wins or loses these games.

You know what? It sucks and I really wanted to see us win this. Despite what some say, Texas does not suck. Are they down a little from normal? Yes, but last I checked they are still ranked in the top 25.

KU put up a great effort against a team with a lot more talent. As I have felt all year long, this team is much, much better coached. We still don't have what we need at QB. Obviously, Weis doesn't trust his QB to carry the load. Yeah, I know we have a great stable of backs and a fantastic running game, but you still have to pass a little more.

Man, if Greg Brown would have caught that pass early in UT's last drive, the game would have been KU's. Oh well, I'm still very proud of the effort. Despite this year's record, it's obvious to me that this program is going in the right direction again. I hear Heaps is looking great in practice so we should have a better QB situation next year.

I'm fine with trying to make the goalline stand because Kansas had a couple timeouts. If KU had no timeouts then I can see letting them score, but KU tried to make the stand AND didn't call a TO, which is just stupid.

Oh i'll definitely keep watching....I'm very happy with Weis overall, just wish he would have let them score with a minute left......or I guess we could have covered that guy in the endzone....

We called one....just didn't use them all.

They're pretty bad. They've been beaten the two times they played anybody good (if you can even call a team without any defense whatsoever in West Virginia good), just got outplayed by Kansas of all embarrassing football programs, and should not be anywhere near the top 25. The only reason they are there right now is name alone.
