Nobody gave a shit about Piolis personality when we were winning in 2010 and nobody should give a shit about Dorseys as long as the team is winning.

That's a little high for his production, but not totally out of whack. I would not be surprised to see him released, make a FA tour then wind up back here.

I think his on-camer persona is awkward because he's not comfortable in front of it.
That's what I gathered as well before we hired him, based on all of the comments about him from people who have worked with him. The entire scouting world apparently loves this guy, he is friends with a lot of people around the league, and he is down to earth and friendly and doesn't BS you as a person.

But being in the scouting background for all of those years, the media isn't exactly his No 1 priority, and he has learned from his previous employers that you must keep your cards close to your vest, so he's going to come off as dry and boring to the media, at least during the draft season.

The bottom line with this guy (or any guy) will be wins...

yeah you are wrong.

Vick went from a multi year deal in which he would get over 15 million this season to a one year deal worth 10 with only 3.5 guaranteed.

But I don't see that happening, and if he wants a starting job his best bet is coming back here IMO.
Here's the thing, though - he's of no added value to the Chiefs. He has no experience in our system, he's not ever been discussed as a leader in the lockerroom. He's just another guy and if he were a FA, he wouldn't be a guy we looked at highly because he's never operated in a 1-gap and his skills aren't particularly well-suited for it.

So if he goes to the market, I'd let him just come back to us because he'd lose several ties for me.

Jackson's a meh guy. Every team has them, have to to fill some spots. Although if it came down to him or a guy like Sopoagoa from SF, yeah, sorry Tyson, we've decided to go another direction.

Well, he's got some potential maybe. IIRC he was slated to go 10-25 when numb nuts picked him 3. He's worth trying to restructure. Maybe playing outside of Crennels shitty system he can do some good.

Mandating that all blinds in the building be shut was mine. Like teams were going to steal the plays. THAT is why Cassel sucked.

my personal favorite was watching the GM pass on pure talent with red flags and having a player on the roster he spent years and resources on to try to cover up with consoling and sweep it under the rug and it was the biggest player with red flag issues the NFL has seen probably ever.

hes promoting "character" to the public and behind close doors that was far from the truth he had the biggest group of trouble makers ive seen on the Chiefs in years

In his first press I sensed his dickness.

I am thinking that if Hunt had interviewed Dorsey before Ried, Dorsey wouldnt have made the cut. Ried sold him to Hunt.

We'll know in a few months I guess but I'd ****ing hate it to have him as my boss.

I got over it last time I was wrong.
I probably will get over it this time, too.

I'm not sure how this all fits in the discussion, though:

"According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Vick has signed a three-year contract which, for salary cap purposes, will void to a one-year deal on March 15."
http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-sh...8687--nfl.html

Technically, there are 2 more years in the contract for review purposes. It's game playing since, like Jackson's $14.5M salary year, they will never be paid.
