I'm not much of a baker, just eyeball them
What I dont like is being too loaded with choco chips, 4-5 per cookie is plenty otherwise they're too damn rich |

0 Minutes. The raw cookie dough is better. Salmonella adds to the excitement.

I like mine on the verge of under done. Regardless, there is no tried and true time - humidity, oven differences, ambient temperature, temperature of the dough all play a part in the time.

They should be soft in the middle and slightly crispy on the outside edge.

I like mine completely soft/chewy. If there's any crisp to them I throw them out. Crispy chocolate chip cookies aren't fit for a dog.

Whatever it takes to leave them soft and chewy. a little crisp is OK but not desirable.
