***** Official Royals vs. Tigers Game 2 Thread*****

Here it is folks, my second attempt at harnassing my psychic ability.

KAN: Bannister (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
DET: Rogers (0-0, 0.00 ERA)

I say we knock the Gambler around a little today. Butler has three hits, including a double. Final score Royals 8 - Detroit 3.

We win this one and we're in the playoffs for sure.

Bannister is having a great day, hopefully we'll get him some run support here soon, then hand it off to our pen.

Any of you listening to the game on the radio? I signed onto mlb.com gameday audio, and both broadcasts (Det and KC) are horribly unlistenable, with some kind of loud static electronic interference obscuring the voices . Its not my computer, I'm wondering if the online feed is horribly flawed, or if the on-air broadcast is screwed up.

man, what a pitchers duel. of course, as usual, Kenny Rogers is putting our guys away very easily. He's always done well against us

Finally, Guillen gets his first hit, and RBI double bringing in Grudz.

3 doubles this inning, BB sends one over the CF's head on an RBI double, bringing in Guillen.

Yeah, but my reception isn't that bad. Voices kind of sound fuzzy, but still I can hear them OK.

In Kansas City (and most of Kansas), you guys are only blacked out of Royals games if your cable company doesnt work out a deal.

I am blacked out of the Royals, Cubs, White Sox, Brewers, Twins, and Cardinals, along with any team that they are playing. The only other area that is blacked-out of the same number of teams is Las Vegas.
Is that for every game? How is that possible?
