Dude, it's time for you to quietly admit to yourself that you had horrible opinions about the draft and 32 GMs thought you were wrong TWICE about your precious guard.

Move on.

I've always had a question about these situations...

What's to stop a player from dropping out at that point so that they avoid that? I know Notre Dame players pretty much miss most if not all of the OTAs and rookie minicamps setting them behind the other rookies and vets on picking up the playbook.

Is Carr better than Alex Smith? That's the comparison. You have no idea which corner or guard will be better. They got a "better" linebacker because he was 18 picks before us. Why? Because they're team is so bereft of talent they picked in the top 5. And who's to say Mack isn't going to be another Aaron Curry?

You know who was the 2013 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year?

It wasn't first overall pick Eric Fisher.

It wasn't WR Tavon Austin.

It wasn't the first QB taken EJ Manuel.

It wasn't one of the three guards taken in the first round of the 2013 Draft.

It was a third round guard.

No it's not. The comparison is Carr vs. Murray. The two QB's taken in this years draft by the two teams.

Shit. Everyone around here is jacked as all shit about jettisoning Smith and making Murray the starter. "Last year he would have been a first rounder...yada yada yada..."

And yes, I know for a fact that Gabe Jackson will be better than that dude we drafted in the sixth round.

And who's to say that Dee Ford isn't going to be another Vernon Gholston? Their college numbers are eerily similar, and then when you factor in their size, strength and speed...they could be ****ing twins.

Bitching about where a player is picked is one thing. Hating the player, or minimizing his ability, because of where he was picked is the sort of silly shit a 3 year old would do.

If hating this draft was worth money, Sacc could buy the Chiefs and make all of the decisions.

Like many people said, McCluster would have been great in the 4th round or 5th round. Uhhhhhhhhh.

Guess where Thomas was picked?

Second, Thomas is weaker but faster. I heard he ran much better at his pro day than the combine.

That might be home cooking, but it does match up to his track performances better than a mediocre 4.5

Also, Mack is gonna bust.
He's absolute dog shit as a 4-3 linebacker.
