My impressions of today:

Our tight end corps are studly. It was obvious they were trying to get them all on the field as much as possible. Kelce and Moeaki were split out wide A LOT. between the three, I bet they catch 1000 worth of passes

Alex Smith doesn't look as bad as I thought he would from reading reports. He threw some really nice passes and is the best quarterback we have at this point. His work in red zone drills was pretty good.

Bowe is gonna have 1300 yards and 13 tds this year. I'd bet big money on that. Dude is ready

Avery was getting open on deep routes a lot. Not sure of this is more his play or the coverage, but he was beating Robinson routinely.

Nico Johnson is gonna be a good player for us and is the best ILB we have apart from DJ of course

Poe is gonna have a standout year. The guy is very powerful and moves as well as anyone over 300 pounds that I have ever seen. I think he gets a few sacks this year. Maybe 5

Tyson Jackson was a brick wall...as was Devito.

Fisher SUCKS at this point. If real games were to start tomorrow, we would need to keep a TE online to help him out all day. I know it's early...position switch...whatever, the guy was getting walked like a dog in 1on1 drills.

Asamoah, Albert and Hudson are ready to play right now. I think Asamoah is gonna earn a new contract...his effort today was off the charts.

Knile Davis has a chance to turn some heads this year. My son got his autograph and I said "high and tight for 60 minutes" and he said "I'll hold onto the ball". I know this is gonna sound homeristic, but the guy resembled Bo Jackson out there with the way he hit the hole with speed and power while staying low. We are gonna have a solid 1-2 punch at RB.

Stanzi did nothing to impress.

Houston is gonna have a big year. Dude looks to have added a couple moves to his arsenal and should be able to disrupt almost any offense.

McCluster had 2 legit returns today that would have broke games wide open. Hopefully, he holds onto the ball this year and makes some plays for us.

Baldwin looks lazy. The level of effort with him is lower than most players. He was open in the endzone and the pass was behind him and he didn't really even try to adjust to it and make the catch. If I was his teammate, I would have Thomas Jonesd him. IMO he was our worst receiver out there.

The Abdullah guy wasnt practicing with the team. He must be on pup because he was doing work with trainers away from team work. That kinda disappointed me because I was hoping to see him out there getting reps with the 1s.

Bray is the second best quarterback we have and even though it's still early and I've only watched one practice, I dont think Daniel is even close. He was super nice, too. He even offered to take a picture with my son even though a lot of people wanted his autograph.

Jamaal Charles is still Jamaal Cbarles.

Did I miss anyone?

I wouldn't get too upset about that comparison, because Joeckel is facing a JV squad in comparison to our pass rushers

Albert was a guard drafted to play a new position

he started 15 games a rookie, only gave up 4.5 sacks, and only had ONE penalty called on him all year while playing with Croyle, Huard, and Thigpen at QB

So there you go, rook...

Honestly, I'm mostly excited about the positive reports about Asamoah, Hudson, and Albert. Well, the interior guys anyway. I'm sick of having to worry if all this talent we acquired for the interior is ever going to be any good or if they just need time. If they step it up and play like actual starters this year, I think we can finally put this "IT'S TEH OLINE!!" bullshit to ****ing bed for a long time.

He definitely reminds you of him out there. He moves well, is really big, did good inline blocking (but the other two are better in that area right now) and has fantastic hands. This is gonna be interesting to see how they use these guys and who earns the starters job in base o.

The guys who stayed 20-30 minutes extra to sign autographs:

Charles
Bowe
Hali
Stanzi
Bray
Droughns
Harris (I think it was Harris, there are 2 #47)
Baldwin
