Julius Peppers: "I'm going to **** up that rookie"

By C.E. Wendler
Sandbox Illustrated Insider

With three days until the Denver Broncos kick off their 2012 season against the Independence Vision, DE Julius Peppers is primed and ready.

"They're a good team, sure. But I love the fact they have a rookie starting at right tackle," he said with a smile.

Peppers, who had 13 sacks for the Broncos last season and was the key player in their #2 ranked defense, then clarified his statement about the Vision's first-round pick, Mitchell Schwartz.

"Sure, he's a first rounder. That doesn't mean anything to me. So was Robert Gallery. Let me make it clear: I'm going to **** him up. I'm going to **** up that rookie. Mitchell Schwartz, I'm coming. And hell's coming with me."

How many sacks could Peppers get in Week 1? He didn't say exactly.

"I believe I can get multiple sacks against that rookie. Not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six..."

Peppers didn't finish his statement, as Tom Brady and Wes Welker then drove past in a monster truck with the license plate ALEXDSMITHSUX, honking and hollering their way to what will surely be a Sandbox Bowl championship season.

As tambaberry noted, there are two Will Allens. We may have the wrong one linked up. I've got that problem with DT Kyle Williams, who shares a name with a 49ers receiver.

Your situation is a little more confusing because we need to confirm if someone else has a Will Allen and if so, who has which one. We'll look into it.

No. The software automatically selects your best kicker, best punter, and your best kick/punt returners. But eventually we will have a screen where you can make those selections for yourself.

Does it matter that the wrong guy is linked up or if the link isnt working - I have several guys on my team with this issue.

That shoudnt matter right?

Are player's startable weeks still being updated, because I'm still seeing a lot of inconsistencies on my own team of eligibility.

I've fixed the availability of Kyle Williams, Will Allen, Jevon Belcher, and Denario Alexander. I've also fixed the position of Matt Bosher to punter instead of kicker.

We're mostly on track to start simulations tomorrow as scheduled.

Incorrect eligibilities on Anchorage:
Charles Woodson
Jon Stewart
Andy Lee (should be eligible for all 16 games)
Phil Taylor

I mean... I'll take the extra availibility, but this should probably be done correctly.
