Why the Chiefs need Cowher...

No Super Bowl winning coach has ever won the Super Bowl again with a different team. We know this.

We also know the NFL is fixed.

There wouldn't be a bigger story line in the NFL next year than if the Chiefs, who haven't drafted a QB since Todd Blackledge, were to win the Super Bowl, making Cowher, who has been in the broadcast booth, the first coach to win it all with 2 different teams.

Make it happen, Roger!

So he would win his 2 super bowls with a rookie and a 2nd year QB. Interdasting.

It is unlikely that even Cowher could pull LeBeau away from Pitt, right?

I have to admit, I am wondering in the background of all of this, if Clark is trying to convince him. Marty & he could be working on this. I don't believe RC's firing was suddenly evident to Clark, I think he's had some time to think about going that direction.

Wisenhunt and Gailey have history with Cowher, too IIRC.

The Chiefs need to move fast, though...

Hiring Cowher and either of those guys as OC would be pretty sweet.
