Seven Pounds.
What'd you think of this film?
I finally saw it last week and I absolutely hated it.
Took entirely too long to unravel. Seemed contrived and worked too hard at being a tear-jerker. I still had questions after the film was over. Am I just crazy or did anyone else feel the same way about it?

The film also further established just how average an actor Will Smith is in my eyes.

Smith's grossly overrated in my opinion.
He doesn't have much range. His best on-screen performances came in what were essentially biopics.

He was born to play Muhammad Ali.
That was an amazing portrayal and arguably his finest moment in film.
But the average Will Smith flick just doesn't do it for me.

Hes probably rated about right. Hes got "It" and "charisma" which is why hes rich.

Yea, he was great in Ali.

Most movie star types "The A Listers" are not the best actors.

Words cannot describe how much it sucked and yet so many people "loved" it.

Roger Ebert's review comes closest to my take: too predictable which I wouldn't mind if it was done well, which it wasn't.
