Miami was better than Dallas the year they lost, but Dallas went on an ungodly hot streak.

Wasn't the first time I've been wrong. I also had the Heat beating the Spurs in this series, which is clearly not going to happen. Such is the benefit of hindsight.

I am a fair person so I would probably wouldn't penalize Lebron's first loss much since it was only year 3 or 4. He doesn't get a pass for the last 2 though since he picked, colluded, and built this team especially if they lose this series.

But that's the issue. The quote you posted from MJ's trainer and backed as the "truth" basically implied that a player should be penalized for that, which is absurd.
