Most Impressive Play In Chiefs History
After the "most pathetic play" thread (which I still believe I won), it's time for us to examine the most impressive feats Chiefs players have committed on the field.
Now keep in mind: this is not a discussion of significant plays, i.e. merely good plays that won us games, or 50-yard kicks that won us games, etc. I don't care about the result of the games, or the season. And while Derrick Thomas' 7 sacks in a game is one of the most outstanding achievements in sports, it's 7 separate plays. This thread is about one play. All I care about is the most physically and/or mentally spectacular play you have seen a Chief perform that blew your goddamn socks off. I can't name one for this. I have seen quite a few. The Dante Hall ultra-juke against the Donkeys is probably the most physically impressive I've seen. Derrick Johnson's rodeo-sack of Ben Roethlisberger was A-MAZING. Johnathan Baldwin catching the ball behind Dawkin's back was re-****ing-diculous. That's such a ridiculous play you can't even do that on video games. Tony Gonzalez once caught a ball across the middle against the Chargers back when Huard was QB, I think it was 2006, and dragged five Chargers about twenty yards before finally going down. Beat those. |

You know what was impressive about the Keith Cash TD? The block that the WR laid out the DB on. Holy crap, he destroyed him!

DT's 7th sack on Krieg
Joe Montana to Willie Davis that Dante Hall gif Grbac to Rison on MNF ftw vs raiders Tony Gonzalez circus TD catch that was called no catch even though replay clearly showed a catch and we would have won that playoff game and Broncos dont win SB but if that play stood like it should have it would have been the best catch EVAR

I would say a play from the Chiefs' last Superbowl victory. Do we have any historians available?

The MNF game where Grbac passed a 33 yard game winning pass to Andre Rison with 3 seconds left was pretty awesome. We won 28-27 so we needed the TD and the Raiders bit on a move by Rison and let them run by their secondary.
Can't find any video but remember the play well... |
