Well, I knew of the issues when I bought mine. I had hoped that since mine was newer, I would avoid the RROD. Funny thing is that mine was a power issue (wouldn't power up) and not the RROD or DRE. Anyway, Sony really priced themselves out of the typical gamer market in the beginning, IMO. Everyone I know has a 360. Wouldn't make sense for me to buy a PS3.

Now that I think about it, I know one person who has a PS3. And about 20-30 other friends who have 360s. Kind of made the choice pretty obvious.

ESPN NFL 2K5 was easily the best football game ever created, and it still amazes me Madden hasn't been able to top it 4 years later. EA even has the ESPN license now and their presentation still sucks.

Hopefully enough Maddenites start seeing what EA really is and just stop buying Madden. It won't happen, but I can still dream. Stupid fanboys.

Hell yeah i did. My religious playing got me a moderator position at 2k sports, and i can give direct feedback to the head 2k guys. I did with NBA2k8. I gave them a report at whats wrong with the game and what needs to be fixed. They liked it so much, they wanted a 2nd one. lol Its pretty cool.

Anyways, i played the game so much at launch. Hell, i hadnt played a football game in like 3 years before that. Its just a good solid game of football. I dont play it all that much anymore, but before my xbox went to the fountain of youth. I would play 1-2 games ever 3-4 days.

Well, the Xbox 360 is working fine. I didn't notice at first until my son said something about the USB ports looking different while I was starting to setup the wireless connection to my router. I use MAC filtering and noticed that it wouldn't work until I entered the MAC address. New MAC address equals different Xbox 360 than the one I sent to them.

So the big question is, did you get a new one or a refurb.

I got my 360 back last week and it is the exact same one that I sent in. Same serial. New mb, dvd drive, and even a new power button.

Mine has a new faceplate. Now I have an extra faceplate.

Another way to tell if you have the same console would be to try and play some XBLA titles while you're NOT connected to the internet - if it doesn't work, then you have a new/refurb console

I thought I had already established the fact that mine is a different console. I just don't know if it is brand new or if they refurbished it. All I know is that it is definitely not the same one I sent to them.
