The Heat were going to beat a team that shot 60/40/80 tonight if LeBron 'did something'?

What an idiotic post.

It's hilarious, LeBron scores a ton of points in the regular season and early in the playoffs, but as soon as he chokes in the finals, we're told we shouldn't expect him to score a lot.

Sure.

Answer me this...
Are you confident Green will never hit 5-6 threes again. Or show 60% again. In this playoff series?

I have a lot more confidence in that than Manu having another 20-point game. That's what makes Manu a fluke, and Green not a fluke. And again... because Wade's knee showed up for 4 quarters 2 games in a row, I don't view game 4 as a fluke anymore.

Got it.

Maybe...and I don't know, this is probably just a shocking revelation here...

but MAYBE the Spurs are just a better team right now than the Heat?

Just because a team loses doesn't mean someone on the losing team necessarily choked.

Which is the same argument I have all of the time about NFL QB's....

but this board is full of a bunch of emotional dipshit sports 'fans'...so it's not even worth arguing as much as I have to argue it

I've definitely cut back 90% from that argument because we'll always have the Dirk Digler level of intelligence posters who tell us the game isn't over halfway through the 2nd quarter and that the game is over after someone hits a 3 to go up 14 with 1 minute left
If you or whoever want to proclaim him to be the best player to ever play, yeah, he's going to have to do something like that.

As much as there are emotional dipshits here, which there are, your holier than thou shit is pretty ridiculous.

Well you might get your wish. I just read the Clippers don't want to send Bledsoe in the Celtics deal so they can package him with Griffin to send to the Lakers for Howard.

The deal was real but right now the talks have stalled.

Don't know, while the rest of the team was trying to mount a comeback in the 4th quarter, LeBron was 1-5 with 3 points (2 from the field). But hey, that's okay! Right?

how was the rest of the team trying to mount a comeback?

Was I watching a different game?

I saw Ray Allen start to catch fire.

“I’ve talked to players before about being more aggressive, if that’s what your question was,” Popovich said Friday. “Opportunities might be there that they didn’t take advantage of. That happens with Timmy now and then. He’s so unselfish, if he shoots three jumpers in a row he feels like he shouldn’t shoot more sometimes, because he wants the ball to move and he wants to involve everybody. I think unselfish players think like that. Once in a while I’ve got to tell him, no, I don’t care if you get 20 of those shots, you have to take them.”
Something LeBron will NEVER understand. He has no idea how to handle being a superstar in the Finals. Jordan and Kobe did.

So you don't think Green shooting over 60 percent is something he will do for his career?

In this playoff series? Yeah, he might. But thats why I'm saying he's having a flukey series, not a specific game.

Until he shows that he can do this over a long haul, I'm gonna call it a fluke.
