***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

Scheffler wasn't a guy that saw eye to eye with McDaniels. Every Bronco fan knew in the middle of the season last year that Scheffler wasn't going to be resigned. Plus, McDaniels prefers blocking TE's and Scheffler could not do that.

In other words McDumbass doesn't like players who have more talent at what they do than he has at what he does.

Oh, so its a good thing the Broncos gave up the #14 2010 1st rnd pick to move up in the 2009 2nd rnd to select Smith, and then traded him for a 7th rnd guy that couldn't even make the Detroit roster. Interesting.....

There is no way to spin this one... this failed move and the crazy picks involved just proves how 'over their heads' McD and Xanders were last year at the draft. They've hit on a few moves, but they've also got a few real stingers that are just painful.

Yes, it's great that these other guys have proven to be better than Smith.. but that doesn't mean much considering what they gave up to get him and how much he appears to suck. I'm also guessing that KnowMo didn't know who the fuck Gronkowski was before yesterday.

The Denver Broncos: Elvis Dumervil is out for the season. LenDale White is out for the season. Jarvis Green can't make the team. Tim Tebow isn't ready to play. And San Diego is still in the AFC West. Good luck, Josh McDaniels. You're going to need it.

Josh McDaniels, head coach, Denver: I presume he's the guy behind trading away a first-round pick for defensive back Alphonso Smith in the 2009 draft. Well, this just in: He dumped Smith for tight end Dan Gronkowski which means ... you spent a first-round draft pick on a tight end who was the 255th draft pick -- or next to last -- and who didn't fit in with the Lions, who cut him twice. Great. I also presume McDaniels was the genius behind signing defensive lineman Jarvis Green to that four-year, $20 million deal. It made sense because McDaniels and Green were on the same side in New England, so McDaniels had the book on the guy. Only he must have had the wrong one. Memo to McDaniels: Stick to coaching and leave personnel to somebody, anybody, else.

Of course. They'd much rather have a TE who couldn't make the Lions than Earl Thomas, or for that matter Jermaine Gresham who was available at #14. Its all part of the master plan.
