Rooting for GB in this game, but I'm not going to discount what Kaepernick brings to the table as a passer.

Strong arm and making good decisions.

As a passer, I think he has tremendous upside.

What he brings to the table is just gravy.

Why is that? Wilson and Kaepernick CAN most certainly throw the ball while standing in the pocket. I don't see the problem here. You still need to draft a QB regardless. Both of them DO NOT give a reason to pass on a QB. Don't know where you're getting that mindset from.

I think these gimmick offenses are here to stay. I don't know why anyone thinks they are just going to go away. There are some crazy athletic QBs in this league.

I agree they've both done a great job throwing the football. That's what separated them from guys like Vick. It'll be interesting to see if they can sustain this. The Niners and Seahawks are definitely physical, running teams. Kind of going against the grain of the NFL being a "passing league."
