we are going to draft Geno Smith

We are.

It's the only ****ing way we can get value out of the pick.

We will hold him hostage and make someone pay for him.

It's the only way we can get value.

He will be ours, and we will let him go.

Dagger to the heart, guys. **** me

I have to hold out hope.....it's the only speck left in my heart that I have for this team.

I have to believe that trading a 2nd round pick for Alex Smith and using your 1st on the future of this franchise is their crazy way of fixing the #1 problem from this team last year.

And I'll hold onto that....until they let Albert go and they draft Joeckel.....and then I'll be completely empty inside.

I would say that there is a 5-10% chance that the Chiefs would still draft Geno.....and this is the ONLY way that I think it goes down.

1. Geno tears up his pro day and by the time the draft rolls around......he's widely viewed as the #1 overall player.
2. The Chiefs don't extend Alex Smith....instead wanting him to prove he can win under his current contract (2 years left)
3. They aren't wowed by any offers from teams wanting to trade up.
4. They think that they can win now with the current roster, plus any FAs signed (including Albert and Bowe).

All of that would have to happen for them to draft Geno at #1.
That would be my perfect scenario, honestly. Unfortunately, I agree that it's a long shot at best.

Lol it's not happening. If anything the Jaguars would trade down with someone else who wanted Geno.

I'm going to his new team dude, would love to have you still next to me on the Train. You are the engine.

I can root for the jags. Ugh at the raiders but I can force myself to do it. Would be easy to see geno to fitz if he slides to the cards.

When we were supposed to give up a 3 or 4 for A Smith I felt no way Geno would get drafted. Now that they have traded the second round pick there is really no ****ing way.
