I can say, and know for fact, only one player selected so far has any chance at being a pro bowl player next year...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

So we got the best prospect in the draft with Fisher, the best TE prospect except for some weed smokin' and we also got the best QB prospect available with a 2nd round pick and we're in the bottom 5?

Wow! That was true fan.....It's kinda true though.

Mark this down: I hope I am wrong, but we will regret this draft (thusfar) two to three years from now. It is an abortion thusfar.
Eric Fisher? Even if he is fantastic, he is still just a pass protector.
Alex Smith: Already a proven player. Proven to be a completely mediocre game-manager. We could have had our pick of QBs at the second pick we used for him, not to mention next years pick will be a much bigger deal than people think.
Kelce? Huge character concerns - and another replacement for a hole we are about to create. Not to mention the other talent that was available.
Knile Davis? Franklin and Lattimore are both still on the board, both of whom I think will be better. Lattimore has the recovery concerns, but his knee was undamaged outside of the ligaments, and that bodes well for him. Franklin has VISION. Davis has problems with vision, injuries and ball protection. What a crock of shit.
The remaining picks are going to have to be homeruns. Thusfar, this draft is a "D" imo.

Albert was getting tagged, and to get decent tag money, he had to be a LT not a RT. He has busted his ass all off season to be in the best shape possible, and he is lean and fit. He is not injured and has done everything this team has asked of him, protecting crap QBs that have no ****ing clue what they are doing back there.
You are also making assumptions about his health and his desire to play for the Chiefs. The Chiefs don't seem to be cheap this year. IMO, they overpaid for Colquitt and Bowe. None of us know the true back story here.

Squandering four top 100 picks and we can't grade this draft yet? What ground can they possibly hope to make up on the last day?

Kelce is not a squandered pick.

The Fisher pick is not squandered if he becomes a very good tackle for 10 years, especially if the Chiefs get solid 2014 picks out of Albert and/or save money they can then use on a free agent.

Your rationalization on Fisher is hilarious. "Well we saved money." We will have saved zero guaranteed dollars. Maybe 3-4 million per year. Enough to pay for our PUNTER I guess. Goddamn. That's what you get out of 1.****ing.1?

The solace if things continue to go to hell in Chiefsland as the naysayers insist [don't agree personally] is that the Ravens have long been my favorite nonChiefs team, and the Rams are growing on me under Mr. Jeffrey.

Loved the Fischer pick...Period. BPA- at 1.1. So relieved it wasn't Joeckel.

Liked the Kelce pick. He keeps his head on straight and we have a winner.

Kniles Davis - really? Bad pick. Period. Will be RB's in the sixth round who are better.

Two thirds of this draft gets an A...one thrid gets an F. Just glad the A is with the first two picks.
