NFL Draft Class 2015 and 2016 Grades
Everyone has their first impression of the draft immediately after, despite the players never having played a down in the NFL. We can all agree that the best time to evaluate a draft class is 2-3 years after. So, lets hear it. If you remember the grade that you felt was desrving after the 2015 and 2016 drafts, please share it. Then give us your grade for it now that these guys have had the opportunity to perform or fail.

2015 Class: Marcus Peters, Mitch Morse, Chris Conley, Steven Nelson, Ramik Wilson, DJ Alexander,James O'Shaughnessy, Rakeem Nunez-Rochez, and Da'Ron Brown. From what I've found, most experts gave it around a B, except Walter Football who gave it a C+

2016 Class:Chris Jones(trade down), Kev Russell, Parker Ehinger, Eric Murray, Demarcus Robinson, Kevin Hogan, Tyreek Hill, DJ White, and Dadi Nicholas. Most draft experts gave this draft an A. With the hits on Jones and Hill, that may be enough to boost it. But Russell didn't even make the team as a 3rd round pick. Hogan is gone, Nicholas and Ehinger suffered severe injuries and are still in question, the rest have done very little.

Look at our grades from last year. Average at best. Mahomes and Hunt are not an average draft. Let the draft breathe before we start trashing it and predicting doom.

RNR was actually a pretty good pick. I'd even call it a very good pick. Just ask the other teams with 6th round selections that year if they'd take what he's given us on their team.

Jay Ajayi was a 5th round pick. David Johnson was 3rd round.

Cam Erving was the #19 overall pick.

People didn't give the 2016 draft an A, and they certainly didn't like the Hill pick. Most people said he wasn't on their board.

I'm going to have to give the 2015 draft a big fat fail. Marcus Peters left for little compensation. We lost our ILB depth with both Wilson and Alexander gone. Conley's role with the team is up in the air. Only positives from this draft is a good starting center and a couple good role players in Nelson and Rochez.

Depends on how you look at it.

Peters was a major contributor for the past 3 seasons.
