Movies

Yeah, so I saw a lot of movies this weekend.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age - Mediocre, at best. Slow and dragged on. Shorten it to 2 hours and it's golden. It's not, so it fails.

Michael Clayton - Amazing. Everything about it is awesome. However, it's VERY complex and mind bending. You have to think, so be prepared. I still feel like I'm missing key details of exactly what happened. Gotta see it again.

Across the Universe - Perfect is one word that comes to mind. It just works. And, contrary to many people I bet, the movie is best viewed sober. Trust me.

Warrior is a great movie, story, powerful acting, emotional, exciting.
The story keeps building momentum. I liked how it ended.

Gotta get that one for my collection.

The Artist: great performances from all 3 leads (including the dog).

Also, I'd sell my mother into slavery for the opportunity to sleep with Bérénice Bejo.

you can't even do that right.

it went from $9.99 to $15.98. And only for the most basic plan.

whatever dude, like I'm going to remember it exactly. Either way it went up significantly with no added value to the customer.

It seems close enough to double for me.

Just saw The Awakening. I came away impressed. Cool cinematography. Really suspenseful.

I'm going to have to watch it again sometime to really figure out the story..

So the trailers for Wrath of the titans makes me wonder if Clash of titans worth a watch. If it sucked I won't bother with either. It's got Neison in it so it at least has that going for it.

What say you?

Worth a watch for the special effects alone. I wouldn't go out and buy the $20 Blu-ray or anything, but I'd Redbox/Netflix it now if I had nothing better to do.

I personally thought it was the best film I saw in 2011.
Nick Nolte beasted that role.
It was a outstanding movie. Nolte nailed his character. It had been awhile since I actually got invested in a movie like that. Felt good.
