So some prayers/good thoughts would be appreciated
As I mentioned briefly in the Easter thread, I had an angioplasty and another test procedure done on my heart today. The good news is that I have no obstructions, the bad news is I have a congenital heart defect and a bad valve. Tomorrow I'm meeting with a cardiac surgeon to determine the best course of action.

I'm pretty much scared out of my mind.

You'll be fine, J Diddy. Heart surgeons are magicians these days. You have nothing to worry about at all. Even if they have to do surgery, you'll be up and back in the swing of things in no time. It's almost like having your tonsils removed these days. Good luck.

I just talked to the cardiac surgeon and they are going to transport me to KU to have a mechanical heart valve put in. I don't know what is going to happen. Call me a wimp, but I'm honestly scared out of my mind.

You're going to arguably the best hospital in the area for this so they'll take great care of you. The doctors there are top notch. It sucks that this is required, but it's great that you caught it without having a catastrophic event.

Don't fall in love with the nurses. They're like Hooters girls. They're paid to be nice to you. Enjoy it for what it is.
