Carr might be somewhere between Gannon and Young, and Rice did great with both those guys.

Chiefs won, best player and gave up zero to get him.
Denver just drafted a guy that was busted for pot and he's going to play for a team that is in a state that legalized recreational use of pot. Seriously.... Raiders got the best WR in the draft...but that's not real hard to do at 1.4 in the draft. Chargers are still looking for a replacement for Tomlison after how many years and traded up to get him?!? Meh...

I really hope the Raiders don't get Randy Gregory today. That would suck

The Chargers gave up what for Gordon?
That is almost as bad as shipping a stoner to Colorado....

Denver may have gotten Shane Ray....but they gave up an offensive lineman (on an already suspect offensive line) to get him.

I think it's a push on round 1. The drafting last though did make out really well.

Billick was talking about players sliding because of off field issues and he was of the opinion that if a team passes on a guy in the first because of character then he is usually still of the board later in the draft. Teams usually say yes or no, we can or can't work with him, and don't take the approach of "well, now he's worth the risk." Obviously, that viewpoint helped KC when teams kept passing up Houston, but it supports the notion Gregory will continue to slide a bunch.
