AC-furnace vents question. Ammonia smell with AC on.
Anyone have this problem? Smell is ammonia like. Vents need cleaning?Only happens with AC on though.

If it's like a car, you can get some bacteria build up in the unit from the standing water in the venting system. I don't know if you have a "fan only" option on the unit like a car or not, but if that's the case, make sure to run the fan only after the air before you shut it off.
