Finally, A Bulletproof Couch You Can Fill With Guns

If you like guns, not being shot, and sitting, there's a new product on the market that is right up your extremely narrow alley. Meet Couchbunker: the ~$7,000 bulletproof sofa that's also a toy box for your guns.

==========================

BedBunker: Sleep Soundly with WWIII Under Your Pillow
I can't speak for everyone here, but if I could sleep every
night atop my 32 rifles or 70 handguns, I'd just worry
that the Boogie Man… Read…
=========================

From the makers of Bedbunker, Couchbunker is just begging to be your 40-rifle, living room gun safe (40 rifles not included). And if you're a firm believer that the best defense is a good offense, you'll be glad to know that the questionably-comfortable bulletproof cushions are optional. But they do have handy arm straps and can stop bullets all the way up to a .44 Magnum, point blank.

The Couchbunker comes in a few different styles and sizes, none of which are particularly pretty, but all of which are at least reasonably unassuming. You can check them out (and order them!) at the Couchbunker's website.

It's one thing to be appropriately paranoid, but this ventures into a whole different realm. Still, it beats just watching TV while sitting on a naked stack of guns, right? Can't argue with comfort. [Couchbunker via WFAA via Fark]

Yeah, no shit. I've moved enough sleeper sofas to give me nightmares about that thing.

I call it the ghetto apocalypse.

When the economy crashes and Obama can't pay for people's phones and food stamps, they're going to riot, raise hell and come out to the suburbs and rob the "haves" if you will.

You know, it's funny. We've already replaced the dishwasher, and a burner just died on the stove so it'll be replaced in the next week or so. The only original appliance left from when we moved in here is the one that I shot. Hardy sonofabitch, that refrigerator.

As for the couch, yeah, it just screams moving nightmare to me. Neat idea, though.

I will stop breaking your balls about it.

I can just imagine someone "plopping" down on that couch and turning their tailbone into powder.

I've actually broken my tailbone in that manner - fell back on the edge of a cheap coach. **** that hurt. For months until it eventually went away.
