Yup. I loved the concept and with a legit budget and better acting could be one helluva' show.
We're about due for another Twilight Zone reboot as well...

I'm curious what you feel Heinlen's intent was. It seemed to me like a circle jerk to military lifestyle, and I doubt it would appeal to a very large audience even in comparison to the piece of trash they already put in theaters.

I was a big fan of Wild, Wild West (the series, not the movie) when I was a kid but haven't seen it since. Does it hold up or is it as corny as I imagine it to be?

I've heard great things about it; just slipped my mind.

The rumor mill is growing stronger and stronger about a new Star Trek series.
I've heard everything from the time period set just after "Enterprise" to after TNG and even in the same alternate universe as Abrams reboot. |

I know one that shouldn't : Space:1999
What a snoozefest. I would watch a Logan's Run series reboot if it were based on the book and not the movie (no domes) but I doubt there is any market for that without a new movie. |

I really liked the idea of Enterprise - humans, new to space, out bumbling around the universe, trying to find their way. Unfortunately, they killed it with the stupid time travel season.

Star Trek, Stargate, and Firefly would all be great. Though the Firefly movie killed some main characters making it hard to do that one.

True. They also ended quite a few storylines, and I wouldn't want them to try and rebuild the relationships between people like Mal and Inara. Then again, I love the universe they created, and there is a lot of untapped material there. Would love a reboot with a new cast somehow getting a hold of Serenity. Maybe keep Jane as a crotchety old bastard on the ship for some comic relief / action, but replace the rest of the crew.
