Interesting. At halftime last night, it was referenced in the crawl under the screen. Bo said he would take full responsibility for it. Wonder why it was not made such a big deal 2 years ago...

It was a private conversation, and he was unaware that it was recorded.

They were smart to go to the BIG, they couldn't hang with the Big 12 South any more let alone the SEC. The speed differential is too great to overcome nowadays. That isn't Pelini's fault and it wasn't Solich' fault either.

They had no probs beating Oklahoma St when they had Weyden & Dez Bryant, they fumbled away the Big12 CC game to Oklahoma the last year they were in the big 12, & had Texas beat until the refs decided to put .01 back on the clock.
People like you make no ****ing sense & dnt know jack shit about football.

Yeah, I get that. I'm just wondering why it was on the halftime crawl for MNF since it was 2 years ago...I guess somebody just wants to pile on the guy.

I know enough about football that I can look up their actual record. And it was hideous vs. the South. Since 2003:

0-5 vs Texas
1-5 vs OU
0-4 vs Tech
2-2 vs ATM
2-2 vs Okie State
5-18

Yeah, they sure competed.

OK, so I finally read the story...cuz I'm an asshole. It's two years old but was just released. Here's Bo's response:

Quote:
I want to sincerely apologize for my comments from two years ago which became public today. I take full responsibility for these comments. They were spoken in a private room following the Ohio State game. I was venting following a series of emotional events which led to this moment. That being said, these comments are in no way indicative of my true feelings. I love it here in Nebraska and feel fortunate to be associated with such a great University and fan base. I again apologize to anyone whom I have offended.

Could not care less about comments made back in 2011. Past is Past. My concern is with the comment of not needing Tommie Frazier as a part of the University yesterday. Bill Callahan had the same attitude toward former players. Kicking a NU legend to the curb will not play well in Nebraska...I am certain a major donor to the university has allowed the 2011 comments to leak to the press... Nebraska is tired of the tirades, blow ups and the traveling circus this has become.

Which donor do you think it is?
