It doesn't matter even if he went there next year. That defense is unraveling and the OL still isn't good.

DeMarcus Ware is gone
Talib will be 32
Chris Harris Jr will be 29
Emmanuel Sanders will be 32
Demaryius Thomas will be 30
Shaq Barrett is playing his last year there (he will get paid)

That team has turned into an old team and likely only has 1-2 more years left until their best players leave their prime.

Agreed. Two interesting landing spots are Jacksonville and Chicago. Bortles is a game manager on steroids.

I agree with others who say Alex has to be lights out in the playoffs or else he's gone. He has a huge cap number next year and we have a ton of leverage because we can cut him for cheap. The only logical two moves are to cut him or restructure, and I can't see the Chiefs being too eager to restructure an aging qb with a first round qb breathing down his neck.
