Yes, if you are driving slower than the speed limit, then you need to move to the right. If you are going at or above the speed limit and need to pass, you should be in the left lane. That's the way it is, that's the way it's been.

News flash, a lot of people speed. Just because you're not breaking any laws by driving the speed limit in the left lane doesn't mean you're not a moron with no driving etiquette. If someone behind you is clearly driving faster than you in the left lane and you can get over safely to the right you do it.

That's fine, if you choose too. If you don't, then so be it. There is no law stating you have to.

Knowing that, there really isn't any reason to be upset about it if the car in front of you chooses not to move. As long as they're going at the posted speed, they're doing nothing wrong and are just as entitled to that space of road as you.

You wanna be mad at said driver because they're following the law and impeding you from BREAKING it? That's reason to be mad at the driver in front of you? Because they're doing the legal thing and you're not?

That's a pretty stupid reason to be upset.

Yeah anyone that's driven a big rig, or any other vehicle for a living understands you dont drive in the left lane preventing people behind you from passing. That's why its called the passing lane. Its illegal to pass on the right so if you're preventing people from passing you whether they're speeding or not you're an asshole.

Most of the time yes, but in the case of someone in the left lane causing congestion, I have seen them be the ones that get the ticket. A few times I have seen the cop pull the left lane slowpoke over and then let them go once they are in the far right lane hoping they learned a lesson instead of ticketing them.

In some states you are. It depends. I know in Virginia and Colorado she could be cited for reckless driving.

No I am not, I have seen it with my own times. Many times. A left lane slow poke is causing congestion, the cop will come up on the line, find the slow poke, and pull in behind them. Sometimes the driver will get a clue by that and pull over. Other times they will not and the cop either pulls them over and tickets them, or makes them pull over to one of the right lanes and lets them go.

You're going to compare a rig to a daily commuter car? Really?

Rig are almost always going below the posted limit. No shit they're in the right lane, they'd be breaking the law if they weren't.

If you're abiding by the law, you won't be passing the car in front of you regardless, assuming you're both in the left lane driving at the posted limit.

If you wanna be mad because you wanna speed off like the idiot in the truck, that's your problem, not the guy in front of you.

To be upset at someone for doing exactly as the law says they should do is ****ing stupid.
