Question for the computer savvy
I haven't been able to view video clips for the last couple days on any web site, much less this site.

I receive a message saying either I need to enable Javascript or download the newest version of Flash Player. The problem is I've never been able to download Flash Player from Adobe's web site. It just won't work.

What do I need to do?

Try this

Open your IE and go to Tools, then Internet Options, then the Advanced Tab, and then restore defaults or restore advanced settings.

Then try again.

You definately need to run somthing like Ad-Aware and/or Spybot and see if you have some funky stuff running in the backround.

Go to Java.com and download the latest JAVA update as well.

I still haven't figured this out. I thought it was a problem with my registry or security settings, and I did what Adobe said to do. I downloaded a registry cleaner a few days ago, so maybe that was a mistake. Does Flash Player come with Internet Explorer 7? I'm thinking I can fix the problem by uninstalling IE 7 and then reinstalling it.

The Flash Player is seperate from IE.

try downloading the newest version of firefox, if it is installed, delete and then reinstall. I have a feeling that something that should be associated with the browser is associated with an incorrect program, but I don't even want to think about how to walk you through that mess.

Plus, if you are using Linux on another machine you can use foxmarks, yoonoo(sp?), or google's plugins to sync your bookmarks.
