I certainly can't blame him for that, just as I don't blame Bosh for doing the same in Toronto. Seems to have worked out pretty good for the both of them. LeBron gets his championship to solidify his legacy as one of the NBA's future greats and Bosh gets to finally play an important role on a great team.
Look I'm ready to acknowledge he's grown up. Can you please acknowledge somewhat that he was an immature prick? He gave up on the Celtics series. Zero excuse for that. And the reason he didn't get the right help is because he never tried to. If he put in half the effort into recruiting as he does now, courting players like Nash, he would have won a championship. Dwight Howard did the same for Orlando. Nobody wants to go to Orlando if they have doubts Howard would stick around.

Kenton's biggest obstacle in Cleveland was himself. This finals, as I've said begrudgingly, was a whole new lebron. Its a shame it took sabotaging his whole reputation and throwing a good sports town under the bus to get there. But yeah, even if I hate the guy, kudos on him growing up.

All these facts aren't disputed by smart basketball objective observers:

1. MJ is the goat
2. Kobe is a Top 10 player in league history as of right now
3. Tim Duncan is a Top 10 player in league history
4. Lebron James is the best player in the NBA right now
5. Lebron could or mostly likely be a Top 10 player in league history when his career is done.
6. Kobe is and always has been a better player than Wade
7. The only stain on Lebron is that he had to go form a super team to win unlike MJ, Duncan or Kobe. Those players also haven't lost 2 Finals series either.

With all that being said I look forward to watching Lebron play basketball and hopefully he stays humble and doesn't revert to jerk Lebron.
#7 is a stupid argument, IMO. Kobe had Shaq - the best player in the league at the time. Then the Lakers went and robbed to get Gasol for him to be able to win again. Duncan always had much better talent surrounding him than Lebron

Those players stuck with their respective teams through thick and thin and eventually won multiple championships. Lebron would have won in Cleveland too if he had been a little more patient, more demanding but upfront and honest in wanting to stay.

When has it ever been thin in San Antonio? Duncan's never missed the playoffs, their worst regular season record was 50-32, and they never finished worst than 2nd in their division.

When it got thin in LA Kobe bitched, whined, and demanded a trade. That's when they went out and robbed Pau from Memphis.

Congrats to lebron. He deserved it. I still believe the heat had the benefit of the refs and i will still dislike lebron no matter how many titles he wins.

He said it was basically a wash. Their scoring is damn close to the same. Yes, technically Durant scored a hair more per game and is the scoring champ, but he and Lebron score about the same. It's just Lebron does so much more than score. I hate him still though. He's an asshole.

Tony Moss (CBS) @alylemoss
I personally guarantee that LeBron James will win another NBA Championship before Dan Gilbert writes another lame open letter.

What an arrogant newspaper headline. As if the Heat are going to win more than one championship. Can't wait to see these clownfrauds dethroned.
