For the time being, try being happy you are not on the bus or walking.
I can't be the only one who gets severe douche chills from this guy's condescending posts, right?

He probably was at the beginning of the season.

What are your low expectations and what are your high expectations for Alex.

I'm actually wondering.

He'll never answer something like that. If he did and smith met them he would start spewing crap about YPA, YPC, and how far the ball traveled in the air

Hey, 49er fans. Remember when you don't understand why we consider your presence on this board a cancer that should be excised with 1) Fire; 2) Bleach; 3) AIDS tree ?

Crap like this is why.

I didn't say that it did. I do think you, and your sidekicks are undervaluing Smith, based on stats. And I know that sounds absurd to you, because you don't scratch your ass unless PFF says it's a good idea.

Smith is a quality veteran starting QB. I can't think of anyone (in the real world) that would say he isn't. He's flawed, sure, He's the opposite of a Romo type gunslinger. Cautious to a fault. But i do absolutely believe that any other QB that the Chiefs could've acquired in the off-season would have cost the Chiefs games, plural, This season.

I admit Geno Smith is playing better than I thought he would, and could become good in a few years, but like you said, 9-0 doesn't happen very often, and you must take advantage while its here, and I do feel Geno would squander that record by costing a game, possibly in the playoffs.

Anyway, continue, but I know Smith is helping them win, and I'm confident in saying that if any other QB that was available is here instead, the Chiefs aren't 9-0.

So full of fail.

Alex has not been a quality starting vet QB this season. He hasn't thrown a TD in 5 of 9 games this season. Has been atrocious on third down, and can't utilize his weapons.

Also, Jason Campbell would be9-0 with this defense.

Do we need to go to the archives for your comments on Matt Cassel? Let's not get crazy here. Cassel had 12 picks in only 8 games last year. Matt had a pretty good game this year against a sinking Steelers team in London. He padded his stats in a horrible loss against the Panthers but still only had 241 yards on 44 pass attempts even though he completed 73%. He also threw 2 picks that game. Last night he handed the ball off to Pederson for the win.

Jason Campbell would be on IR behind this offensive line.

Well, he's 1-1 so far with better WRs and TEs and a comparable D.

Alex Smith, In the Right Place
After eight rocky seasons in San Francisco, the quarterback has found a perfect new home in Kansas City—and Andy Reid has the ideal player to run his offense

Cant wait to see what happens next Monday night. I think Andy and Alex are gonna turn heads (in a good way). We've definitely been holding back on Offense and Defense the past couple weeks. I'm calling a 300+ yard passing day for Sir Alex.
