The Big 12 is a LOT tougher than the split division days. You can't luck into the easy schedule every couple of years like some of the weaker teams used to.

With that said, I think the talent is there for KU to contend for a bowl next year if they schedule a powder puff non-conference schedule.

I don't expect much from this game other than for KU to at least look competitive. Weiss has improved this team this year, for sure. But Crist has been a big disappointment. Would be nice if he could step up his game and play well.
