Geno completely exceeded my expectations. He didn't look nervous at all.

Maybe. Geno really had a lot at stake, and he seemed to have passed every test. Fast. Can jump. Made good throws.

Guy probably had more pressure on him than any other player here... Ta'o incluced... and he preformed very well.

Now if he aced the interviews... he should valut into the #1 overall conversation.

No kidding. Matt Cassel used to look great throwing the football around in shorts. I'm a little surprised at all the reaction here today. It's like everyone lost their minds in both directions. A large number of stupid trolls or people who think Geno is the "perfect prospect." Let's be fair here. Geno is worthy of the #1 pick, but if he'd had a terrible day today everyone would be saying he was worthy of #1 because of what he did on the field, and today doesn't matter. And I'd absolutely agree with that take. The biggest thing for Geno in this combine is the interviews. If he doesn't impress Dorsey in the interview he's probably not going to risk a #1 pick on him.

That is all true, but it is still good news that the top qb looked like he belongs there.

Pretty much. I think today was really important not so much for the solid job Geno did on the drills, but just so he can finally get some positive press from national draft media guys. He's been fighting an uphill battle for months, and today he got a LOT of praise.

More importantly, of course, is how well he does talking to Andy, but that whiteboard show he's going to do with Mooch at 7 PM will give us a good idea of how well that goes.

Regardless of how meaningless a 40 yard dash or footwork drills are, this was pretty important to Geno's draft stock.

I'd agree, but I guess I expected that. The guy is very athletic, good arm, outstanding accuracy on his throws. Plus he supposedly has a good work ethic. I have little doubt if we pass he'll probably be taken top 10. I don't understand how Jake Locker and Tannehill were top 10 picks but this guy isn't. I don't see what all these talking heads are seeing.

LAWLZ @ Peeholi's draft on NFL.com:

1. Chiefs: Joeckel
2. Jags: Milliner
3. Raiders: Floyd
4. Eagels: Warmack

So glad this douchebag was fired. He was just itching to rid this team of every pick/player he didn't make. I goddamn guarantee that his pick at #1 was going to be one of these guys.
