I'm not reading 450 posts, but the original premise of this thread is ****ing stupid. Judging a QB by how he plays in fake games is like judging you on how good a sex partner you will be by how you whack off to midget porn.

Go take a look at Stanzi's pro stats. Oh, wait, you can't find any? That's right... because they've NEVER LET HIM THROW A PASS IN A REAL GAME. Not even in garbage time.

He could suck. Statistics say he probably does. But he could be Johnny Unitas reincarnated. From what I've seen, the "supporters" are mostly people who've said, like I do, that you don't know what you've got unless you give it a shot. If Cassel sucks donkey balls in the first game or two, given that and his prior resume it's pretty clear what you've got, so there's no reason not to throw Stanzi in there and see what he does.

I wanted to see Stanzi play & see if he could handle the QB duties. He failed, we could have found that out last season at any time but no we had to watch Palko fail. I would have been happy to find out so we could found someone else this offseason now he is a roster spot waist. I just wanted to see for myself what the hype was & the fact we actually drafted a QB is a rarity. I'm not sorry I rooted for him to take over, I would have loved it if he kicked ass but he failed.

I love all the people who are just now posting in this thread under the assumption that there have been over 30 pages of high-octane drama related to whether or not Ricky Stanzi will be a successful QB for the Chiefs. I can't even decide if they're joking or not.

I apologize. What I saw Saturday night was not what I saw last pre-season. Maybe he can develop over the next couple years, but he definitely played himself off of the 2nd string offense.
