It's possible since they seem more consumed with finding pieces around him than actually replacing him.

I've never seen a team so hell bent on masking the deficiencies of one player.

Its a horrible situation as a fan. You obviously always want your team to succeed, but in this spot one step forward may be end up being two steps back if it secures Matt anything. This roster is pretty solid. I am not sure Matt is going to be made to look bad this season.
