Rolando only made it because of lack of other candidates.

Not sure on the stats but I keep hearing media guys saying he's lived up to the draft pick.

There were 18 linebackers drafted in the 1st 4 rounds. Rolando was the 1st one taken - not too surprising that he was selected.

Less competition at safety - only 8 were drafted in the 1st 4 rounds. Berry was the 1st one taken - not too surprising that he was selected.

5 offensive guards... Zane Beadles was the 2nd one drafted ( 1st rounder Iupati was also selected).

10 offensive tackles.... Veldheer was the 7th one drafted (the 6th OT Saffold was also selected). Those two beat out some high-priced 1st rounders.

13 defensive ends.... Lamar Houston was #6

Berry is the first 1st round defensive draft pick to live up to expectations in a long, long time. He came in and made a difference, made the Chiefs better right off the bat.

We need that to happen again with a NT or OLB this year.

Also props to Blount. Fischer looks like a dumb **** now. A CJ/Blount combo would have been lethal.

Veldheer made it wow.

Tamba absolutely destroyed him in both games like he was a matador. How on earth did he make it?

As far as McClain, the ONLY reason he was selected here is because of draft status. He was incredibly pedestrian as a rookie.

Pat Angerer had a similar season.

Daryl Washington had a similar season.
