The offense in NCAA 14 is more balanced. Play-action actually works...but the deep ball is completely gone. Play action is NCAA 13 is meh and the deep ball is there.

EA has this problem where if something is mildly broken....they ****ing completely make it the opposite. Deep balls happening too often? NO MORE DEEP BALLS! Play-action not working? IT WORKS EVERY TIME NOW!

I need to get back on this one.

I've been buried in games lately, and haven't had time to play. Last of Us, GTA V....
Both games are great, but I find it hard to just sit down for an hour and play them. When I play them, I always get sucked into a 4 hour session lol

NCAA is good for a quick game.

I've been having fun with 2013. 2014 would always just end up pissing me off because my defense would never stop anyone. I've been playing on Heisman and adjusting the sliders so the games are more realistic....but at least I know the game isn't going to **** me and just run all over me like I'm not on the field.

Yeah. I've had to seriously tweak sliders. which is frustrating because it seems to take a ton of games to finally get it dialed in.

suction blocks are still there. and having a LT pull all the way around on a pass play to pick me up from Blitzing on the right side is awesome.

I still don't mind the fact that you can't throw the deep ball in it, it adds another element too it and makes you upgrade your skills. Maybe it's just me but I can't play these games against the computer regardless of difficulty, I could use some sliders, I just love the competition of ranked games but sometimes people **** around and it lags, it's been quite smooth though compared to madden 25 on ps3. seriously though go into practice and respot the ball by your 20 and just try to improve your pocket presence and deep throw and I'm telling you, you will get so good at avoiding the rush, throwing a bomb and gettin a user catch . I'll admit there's problems, I just don't think I'll ever sell this one. Too many college FB players I like and the NCAA titles will always be more of a complete football game to me, I'm pissed that there might not be any of them on ps4 ..also I really like NCAA 13 and I bought that off the store so it's saved on my console forever so I'm happy about that.

Only deep ball success I have had is off of play action. I learned to only choose run plays that have a play action to go with it. Run it successfully and then when the "set up" icon pops up, go deep.

To say you can't throw the deep ball at all is ridiculous. You can throw and complete deep passes. But you just can't do it every other play now. But you can easily complete 3, 4, 5 deep passes per game. I don't mind that. I thought it was too easy last year. Now it's more realistic.

i've noticed that Play Action is pointless 99% of the time.
I've ran the ball 8-10 plays straight on numerous possessions, and I try to go PA on 3rd and 2 etc,.....nada.

What's your definition of deep?

In 2013....it was easy as hell to throw the deep ball. 2014? The coverage that the computer has is unrealistic compared to my coverage. My CBs blow coverage an ungodly amount of times.
