Havn't seen a night crew thread around in awhile, of course I havn't looked real hard either.

Actually I read the thread about were all the good guys have gone, and it got me to thinking of the old night crew threads we used to have. I know most of us are still around, except a few like LVNHACK, but who knows maybe he & some of the other MIA members will see this and show up.

So anyway, whats been going on with everyone? Same shit different day here. Still trying to get into the RN program, really thought I would make it this year, as I was the #2 alternate, but looks like I'm gonna miss again this year. If so I'll take the year off as I have all my perquisites done, and really can't afford to keep going unless it's for the RN classes. In the mean time I'm looking at taking a job in the oil fields down by Green River Wy, if it works out. Great money, but have to be gone 2 weeks at a time, then off 2 weeks.

ANyway, enough about me, what's up with everyone else? Is Jim still trying to be evil? Fraz are you still fat?

Ussually stay up till 10 then get up at 2am, and then nap from 10am to 2pm.

Not much is new with myself...still engaged, still busy with school. I did finalize my job situation for next year, looks like I'll be going back down to Phoenix and working for the same firm I worked at this summer. Now I'm trying to stay motivated and perform well in my classes, even though I know it doesn't matter in the short term.

Cool, glad to hear all is well. I know it's tough to stay motivated. I'm really bummed out on school myself. Pisses me off to get so close, but still not able to get into the program. I think taking a year off will help me out.

You probably just have too much real world experience and perspective for them.

Truth be told, it really PISSES ME OFF, that they will not take into consideration my 10+ years in emergency medicine. Heck as a Paramedic I did more procedures than mort these RN that's are teaching the class, and was a certified instructor in several areas.

But they want to be fair to the younger students fresh out of high school. Screw that, let the best most qualified person in the program, at least they know I can handle the job.
