shockingly so at times.

a 'rare' autographed football card (unauthenticated, not released by one of the reputable card companies) of a retired offensive lineman who played exactly three seasons in the early 90's...

the buy it now is set for $1 million dollars, but that's not the funny part (though it is funny). the funny part is that 19 people have sent offers (obviously less than a million dollars).

the card is absolutely, literally, worthless (as in, has no worth. worth less than the cardboard it's printed on). it's a card of a scrub that some schlub scratched an auto on with a sharpie and he's convinced quite a few morons that it's worth more than a dollar at least (that's the minimum you can offer if memory serves).

PT barnum was absolutely correct: there is a sucker born every minute, and I'm glad this guy will likely fleece some idiot out of some serious cash. an item, theoretically, is worth what somebody will pay for it. bravo, guy. bravo.
