Geno Smith fans roll call

NEW THREAD HEADER (11/17/12):

The list is gone. We will all be Geno Smith fans when he gets drafted by the Chiefs. For historical documentation's sake, I'll keep the list in a separate post on this thread: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...postcount=3314

WHY GENO SMITH?
If you're wondering if Geno Smith is right for you, check out this brilliant post by Saccopoo:

http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...postcount=5388

Next, we have a few GIFs you may be interested in from the Oklahoma game. Insane potential. These are the elite throws that very few QBs can make. What more can I say? Geno Smith can be a franchise QB in the NFL, and the Chiefs need to take a shot on him.

GIF #1:
Spoiler!

GIF #2:
Spoiler!

GIF #3 (My favorite):
Spoiler!

HOW DO WE GET HIM HERE?

Glad you asked. I posted this checklist earlier. It probably belongs in the thread header, and will be updated as the Chiefs close out their season and start a new chapter in their franchise story.

Preparing for Geno Smith's Arrival In KC Checklist

1. [X] Lose games and acquire the #1 overall pick
2. [X] Get Pioli and the Patriot Way cronies the **** out
3. [X] Hire new GM/coach

OPTIONAL (but highly recommended):
4. [ ] Re-sign/tag Bowe, who really wants to play in KC with Geno
5. [ ] Re-sign/tag Albert

But yeah, easy throw.

Chiefs fans don't wanna risk taking a QB in the draft unless its ****ing Jesus, and even then we'd hear "he didn't walk on the water far enough" or "water to wine?I like Rum"
I want a QB in round 1 or round 2. I just don't want to waste the value of the high pick. I think we could pick up a few extra picks in a trade down and still get a QB.

This Kiper on Geno shit is getting old. I haven't given two shits about what Kiper has said for years, however in this case I do. Not personally, because I know hes dumb as dog shit. I do care however that he just wont about it and the dumb idiot football masses are going to believe that Glennon is better than Geno, or that Geno isn't going to be the new chocolate ding a ling swinger in the AFC west.

Jarvis Jones? Really? Have you watched him? He got swallowed up against Georgia and teams run at him basically every down.

There isn't one prospect in this draft, outside of QB, that is worth trading up for or that is even on par with anyone that you just said.

And thats whats so great about sitting at 1. For once in teh Chiefs ****ing existence they have a chance to not have to sit and hope a Qb falls to them. If you trade down, you risk not getting your guy.

Say you trade to 5, the Jags take Geno at 2 and Wilson goes at 4. Then what?
Take Jarvis Jones. And trade up with 2nd pick or just take a QB with the 2nd round pick.

Cleveland
San Fran
Cinc

Didn't pick a QB with their first pick.

Again, whats the value? And who are you taking with that high pick? You go and trade down, you are then relying on luck to get a QB.

You trade down, you could end up with the 4 or 5 best QB in this class, when you had the chance to take the best prospect.

It's a null argument anyway at this point, the ****ing combine or pro days haven't happened yet.

So, just wait until after that when Kiper and McShay (who I'm sure you are basing all this off of) are mocking Geno to the Chiefs at #1.

Why? How big of an impact will Jones have? What would he do, split time with tamba and houston?

Ok, take Jones.

He's a subpackage player. You wanna draft a player 1st overall, who is gonna play on third downs?

And how many SB's have those teams won?

THe Packers, Giants, Colts, Steelers took a QB with their first pick, how'd that turn out?

Wtf did I say earlier in the thread.

Your argument is null and void.

We have a chance to draft our own QB, top of the class. Geno is that guy. Not ****ing GLENNON. Not Tyler bray. When you have a chance to take the top QB. You do it. END OF.

I could give two ****s about ANYTHING else being said about this draft. And if you dont have that mentality, then you are not Geno thread material. BYE.

If our GM were good at drafting, that might...

Actually, no. Not even that's worth it. No ****ing excuses. **** your shitty draft pick collections.

I'd trade all of Pioli's and Herm's first round picks for a franchise QB. I'm not trading one away for a ****ing 2nd round pick.

That's kinda the point. I don't think there is much difference from 1 to 5. Heck, I might like Aaron Murray better. And he is probably the 5th.
