ANyone else still want to TANK the season for a better draft pick?

Say the words, and join my ignore list:

"we should tank this season for a better draft pick"

*************************
Let this thread stand as a testimony to traitors
and cowards who, at a time of peril , chose to
abandon the fight and wish upon our great, and
holy Chiefs, to lose games and give up the fight.

By shunning them and making their words vanish
from the computer screen, we say unto them:

WE WILL WIN

We have not given up the will to fight. We are not
sackless, gutless weasels who run crying home to
mama to suck on her stretched out floppy teet
when times get rough.

We shun you, and your words are now gone from
our lives, never to waste our time or energy again.
We acknowledge that your only purpose is to troll,
and cause disharmony, and therefore the best way
to deal with you is to banish you from the pages of
history.

To get a competent GM, HC and franchise level quarterback, I hope that this team loses out for the rest of the season.

In fact, that would almost assure us of all three of those things happening.

However, a 6-10, 7-9 or 8-8 season is only going to give the current regime the necessary excuse to keep building it their way.

Screw them.

One and Fifteeno for Geno!

I've simply seen enough of Cassel. He's a vomit-inducing pile of crap. He's a loser and he's dangerous to the people he's throwing it to on top of it.

Just to be clear add me to your ignore list. I'm a QB or bust fan at this point of my fandom.

If going 3 - 13 or 4 - 12 will break the cycle of signing other team's back up QBs and forces KC to draft a QB in the first round for the first time in 29 years then yeah I'm on board for tanking the season.

So, by all means...

Yes. Anybody that can still defend Cassel is simply sticking their head in the sand. This team will never win anything meaningful with this guy going forward. He hit his apex in 2010 and that Matt isn't coming back around any time soon.

I will never root for this team to tank.

All I want is for the Cassel to tank, the Chiefs to keep winning games despite Cassel tanking, and then Quinn or Stanzi coming in and proving once and for all that Cassel is the problem.

I want to win. I just want those wins to come behind a different QB. Man, I was really keeping my fingers crossed that Romeo would yank Cassel in the 3rd and Quinn would engineer a big comeback.

I hate to say yes but we are a good team with a bad quaterback and I think we need to really suck to get this team to take a quaterback

Nah, today gave us some life. Lets see where this takes us. This division is winnable. Gotta get to the playoffs to win in the playoffs for the first time since the 93 season (right?). I honestly just want a playoff win at Arrowhead. Also - YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE A 1-3 DRAFT PICK TO DRAFT A GOOD ROOKIE QB! We can snag one in the mid-late first round or beyond perhaps. Now if we're 1-6 or something like that...THEN yeah, go for it.

I do not want to see the Chiefs tank the season.
I think there will be a meeting on Cassels future whether we go 10-6 or 2-14.

So I do not want to see the team go into the off season with their heads down.

New QB great..I'm thinking it happens unless.. 14-2 one playoff game win.
And we all know thats not happening
