I wonder if Rison is a team player...
Not enough balls, a big reason he's not playing here anymore...let's see, Gonzo 88, Alexander 74, Morris 47, Richardson 54, Lockett 29....Rison would have had maybe 25 to 35... A chance to play with the greatest receiver in history, a chance to make your team better, but all he can think about is not enough balls.... I can't belive Rice is even considering Oakland...granted it's close to home, but hey, go play in Arizona or Seattle, |

Sure Andre "Bad Check" Rison. Whatever you say. I'm sure you're bust is gonna be right next to Rice's in the HOF. People like Andre make me wonder why some people are even born with a voice box.

Bob Dole appreciates the way they quoted Dre's marvelous grammar.

Yeah, but he supports T.Rich - you guys should thank him for that. Here he is on the KC-Denver game:
"I found myself yelling at the screen at the play calling," said Rison, who did quite a bit of yelling about K.C. play-calling from closer range last year when he was with the Chiefs. "Tony Richardson is a good friend of mine, and I'm glad they finally used him the way they should. . . . I'm just glad they played as hard as they did, knowing they had nothing to play for. And I don't mind saying they had nothing to play for."
|

He couldn't seem to do it without throwing a jab at the end, though...

I cannot imagine Tony Richardson being friends with Rison. This makes no sense.
The only reason Rison makes those comments are for the same reason all Raider fans were rooting for a KC win. To secure the first AFC west crown since Bo Jackson was in the backfield. |

Who is going to believe anything Brock has to say other than, “Yes your honor, I’m guilty.”

I would surely love to hear Tony Richardson's side of this "marvelous friendship" he and Brock share...
Of course, We know T-Rich is a deeply spiritual man; perhaps he sees some side of Middlebrook that the fans have no access to. Or maybe Tony's trying to save a lost soul? |

From what I have heard from most players in quotes is that they consider TRich a good friend to all of them, I'm sure it has something to do with him being a class guy that people can trust and respect. The kind of qualities that make people like you.

Apparently, Rison isn't taking a shot at Jerry Rice. He's just trying to protect Jerry from Gannon's temper. We thought he was being a punk, but he actually had Rice's best interests in mind. Rison on Rice:
"I would love to play with him, but I don't think he could take one of Rich's lashings," Rison said. Rison caught a 14-yard TD pass from Gannon on Saturday and got a call from his mom, who wondered why the quarterback seemed so mad. "I said, 'He's always mad,'" Rison said. "Oh, we love him. Sometimes I'm getting ready to choke him, but we love him. That's our leader."
|
