clicking a glass with ya Mile High...the Broncos looked good today, some fans are still counting the votes (bad officiating, yada yada, yak yak)but it looks final to me....the Chiefs game will be their superbowl and I expect them (the Chiefs) to pull it out. The Raiders still have Carolina and the Jets. It's good to see the offensive line dominating....and no, I didn't see ONE single cut block on any of the touchdown runs. (tho I am sure someone saw NUMEROUS)

Hey MileHigh (ya stinkin' Bronco fan)....I was also surprised that Pittsburg won today. Not because Jano missed the go-ahead FG, or even the 4th down boo-boo as they manuevered for the final FG. Was suprised me is that the Steelers took that game, they won it outright. They stopped our run game, forced two Wheatly fumbles, ran on us, and contained Gannon.
So, Denver is now a half-game back of Oakland. I hope thats enough of a threat to spark the Raiders to win these last 3 games. One stumble and Denver (gag!) gets the division. Go Chiefs! |

Gosh Raider fans, and Bronco fans, what does it feel like to be talking playoffs this season. We Chief fans are starting to forget the thrill of these conversations, with the Cunningham era. Good luck to both of you. That ought to start the fairweather ranters. But before anyone starts, I have followed the Chiefs longer than most of you have been around. So stow that BS, this team is one of the most uninspired group of underachievers I have witnessed in 35 years. The 70's and 80's teams fought hard every game, not just a few of them, and I thought we had some lousy coaching then too. But at least they tried. Take five or six guys off this team, and you would have none that cared.

For the sake of the AFC West and my absolute, un-yielding disgust for anything having to do with the raiders I have to say, as much as it kills me -go donx- (fart sound)

Raider fans better hope they don't see the Donks again. Much like Tennessee had the Jags number last year, Denver has Oaklands this year.

Bob Dole has to say that Anderson is, indeed, impressive.
Bob Dole also has to say that he's watched almost every New Orleans game this season, and the defense that showed up today wasn't the usual fundamentally sound defense. Bob Dole was just disappointed that CBS stopped coverage before we got to witness Jim Haslett kicking Jeff Triplette's a$$. |

I'm simply amazed with Anderson's performance yesterday... as well as the 4 other 180+ yd performances.
Anderson now has 1222 rushing yds and 11 TDs compared to Jamal Lewis' numbers of under 1100 yds and only 4 TDs... hopefully, this ends the 'rookies of the year' debate. I'm really impressed with Denver. Their defense is still weak, but I'm hoping they can win at least one playoff game - especially if it is the Raiduhs. :D It would really warm my heart to take the division away from Oakland. This was a game they could have easily lost, and they ran away with the "W". That says something about this team. I just hope they keep the momentum rolling. GO BRONCOS!! MHM, you are one of the coolest Donx fans on this board, and I respect your opinions. But the bottom line is, Donx win. And where do you go? Straight to the Chiefs board.
Anderson IS a stud, but your line chop blocks on SWEEPS. You can label this any way you want, but it's true. I won't try to take away the Donx success, they've earned it. Kinda. You can call me bitter, but when a team resorts to cheating to win, I just can't respect that.
|

Stevieray... this is also one of the first places I run to when they lose. I'm pretty equal on the topic and I don't run on here saying "Chiefs suck".
As for the chop blocking ... if they are indeed as guilty as some of you claim, then why aren't the media outlets (ESPN, CNN, NFL, etc) coming out and exposing them? Why are they all hailing Anderson and the 3 straight years of over 1,000 yds by 3 different guys, but not saying "well, if every team chopblocked like that, every RB would have those numbers"? Just curious... |

The league has been notified in the past about this. I SAW it twice early in the game.
The same reason we watched Dudley step out of bounds 300 times, the same reason we watched Moss push off twice last week 3000 times. You tell me. I'm not trying to bicker with you, sorry if it seemed that way. |
