As far as I'm concerned people who get caught driving drunk should be brought up on attempted manslaughter. I'd even vote a Liberal for President if we could get harsher DUI laws.

WTF were you thinking? Was it worth risking your life and the life of everyone else on the road (moms, dads, kids, brothers, sisters) so you could get home a few hours earlier? If some drunk hit your mom and dad's car, killling them, would you shrug it off and think "oh well, at least I know the dude had a raging party that night"?

Uhhh, first of all peeps- it doesn't matter anymore how much you have to drink- if you have just two or three drinks, you can be nailed for a DUI. You don't necessarily have to be drunk to get a DUI anymore.

But, everyone is right- you shouldn't have been driving when you've been drinking til 4AM. Bad, bad call.

I just woke up from my night of drinking. Instead of driving my arse home, I walked over to a buddy's house and called a cab instead. $10 cab ride quite possibly saved my life and the life of others.

I'm glad his name isn't KCEric. That would give me pause.

Anyway, trivia for the day: over 30 percent of fatal car crashes involve a drunk driver.
