I figure there are some motorcycle guys/gals on CP, so I thought we could have a place to talk all things Motorcycles.

Tire Mount and Balance Prices (as of 10/29/16)

Prices based on if you remove the wheels yourself and bring the wheels and new tires with you:

Cycle Gear - $35 per wheel if you buy tires from them. $58 per wheel if you buy tires elsewhere
Rawhide - $65 per wheel (assuming it would be the same at other HD dealers. they book it at 1/2 hr per wheel)
C R Cycle Tires (DeSoto) - $30 per wheel

Cheapest I've found my Michelin Commander II's. Seem like they have good prices on other brands too.

Just broke 1000 miles on my new Fat Bob... love this bike... Only problem is it's the only DYNA model that has virtually no customization parts... that's frustrating.

Being a smaller guy (under 6') I had bought a Yamaha R6/S. Quick responding torque bike.
Regretting selling it I am now looking more for a cruising bike. Im 5'6" and its tough to find a good looking cruiser where I dont feel dwarfed riding it.
Sat on a couple Triumphs Thruxton and Bonneville. Then I went and sat on a Harley 48. That will probably be my next bike for casual rides to the beach, a yearly trip to the keys and a couple days a month to work

PS - I've had this for years and I almost NEVER see other helmets painted to match a team. it's a GREAT idea.....and nobody does it.
