This is just silly now. So collapsing in the 4th is part of their strategy now? So they could break the game open and have LeBron resting on the benching icing up 5 minutes before the game even ends but they choose to let the other team hang on to the last minute? That's a good strategy to you and you think they're doing it on purpose?

Are the Celtics the worst #1 seed since the 98-99 Heat?

That's the last time a #1 seed bitched out in the first round.

It's happened more recently with Spurs Grizz maybe 4 or 5 years ago.

The worst first round loss was probabably that 67 win Dallas team that lost to that Baron Davis Warriors team.

Those were better teams than this Celtics one though.

Probably but the East is still pretty bad. You would have thought it would have gotten better over time but all the best players outside of Lebron and George play in the West. If George goes to LA next year it is only going to get worse.

Just for fun I did an exercise to see what the playoffs would look like if they reseed all these teams and put them in a 16 team bracket. If I did this right the semi finals would be GS vs Cavs and SA vs Rockets.

1st rd

GS
Bulls

Raptors
Wiz

Cavs
Atlanta

Celtics
Bucks

Clippers
Grizz

Rockets
Pacers

Jazz
OKC

SA
Portland

Westbrook may take 40 shots tonight.

It's crazy to think the Thunder at one time had 3 of the top, what, 10 players in the NBA and ended up with the worst of the 3 longterm.

Durant is clearly better than both of them, but Westbrook vs. Harden is a toss up.
