Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Agreed. Smith's putrid name has no business in a thread dedicated to a potential world-beater.
The complete lack of self-awareness demonstrated in this post is the perfect representation of why it is that major threads on CP like this one can never stay on topic for long.

Or, you could keep Smith out of the Mahomes thread.

Yea... because Carr was touted as a "sure thing" can't miss...

And Smith was that "sure thing" "can't miss" piece of the puzzle for a Superbowl team.

If you're going to direct that statement at anyone, direct it at yourself. You're responsible in large part for keeping this idiotic argument going. Not going to reply to this conversation again lest I dilute the thread further.

What is the hold up on Mahomes signing? Are they waiting on Trubisky to sign because the players picked right before and after Mahomes have both signed and I thought all this was slotted anyway?

Just curious.

Such bullshit. No one said anything about anyone or anything being a sure thing can't miss for a SB in the wake of Pioli's final 2-14 season.
