Sorry if it's a repost, but I'm seeing a lot of talk about this... thought we might centralize the discussion.

This makes me excited.

You have a flashlight kcxiv, on the PC you hold down on the tab key for a few seconds and it comes on.

But yeah, it is a little dark. I think i am going to brighten my screen up a little more to help see things, but not to sacrifice to much contrast of the game.

Yeah, I updated the brightness in the settings a couple notches, myself.

Awesome game so far. One of my all-time favorite series.

Oh, and kcxiv, the Metro stations are pretty dark WITHOUT entering them post nuclear attack. They really do feel kind of dungeonesque.

That flashlight lets me see about 3 feet out in front of me if i am lucky. I need to see if i can adjust the gama in the game. I have the 360 version though, not the PC.

It's very easy in the 360. Just hit start in game, go to settings and adjust.

Gamefly sent me Fable II today.

I played it for an hour or so and decided to send it back.

I AIN'T GOT TIME FOR NON-FALLOUT 3 GAMES, FOOLS

until Gears of War 2 comes out, followed by Mirror's Edge and then LEFT 4 DEAD SUCKAAAAAS

Am I correct in assuming that if you blowup Megaton that you can;t finish any of the quests there like the survival guide? Thats a real pain in the ass considering how long of a quest finishing the survival guide is.

I blew the shit out of megaton before finishing the survival guide quest but when I went back to visit the crater (megaton), Moira was there to greet me with her new goulish body. You can still continue with the quest.
But if you never spoke to Moira before blowing up megaton, you're ****ed as far as that quest goes.

She can be found in Rivet City after the destruction of megaton.

Finally got my PIP-Boy Programmer out of the vault.

And then promptly died to a pack of mercenaries who were hunting me down. I should have run, but damn it one of them had a laser and I wanted it.

Just rented this game tonight and played for a little while.

It was pretty damn engaging in the vault, I really got sucked into creating my character and weighing out his different reactions to different situations.

I fucked that Morty fella up in Megaton, and then I got owned by the town folks, so I gotta start over outta the vault here in a few minutes.

I'm enjoying it immensely, but I haven't played an RPG since Everquest like 7 years ago, so I'm not really fond of them as a whole; but I really enjoy this game, and I'm sure I'll get used to it.
