This guy is a beast. Tons of people/sports analyst are already comparing him to Bo Jackson. I'll be at the game tonight. Go Dodgers!!!!!!

as a Braves fan - I'd much rather face the Dodgers in Post-Season than the Cards. But neither one of you all scare them, I think it's safe to say.

Im ok with anyone in the play offs. Kershaw, GRienke and Ryu. Ill take my chances. All 3 have era's below 3 now i think and Kershaw at 1.87. Good luck.

my bad greinke's is 3.4, but he's been pitching lights out the last month and a half and Ryu is at 3.14 lol

Puig with 12 walk in the last 13 games. Plate discipline adjustment was fast. Putting a beatdown on the cards. Love it

put a ghost asterisk next to the AT Yale. For they've all but secured the division with this 15.5 game lead.

We will be waiting. Then the nation can see the league's rookie leader in RBI's

Evan Gattis with his 46 doing so as a PART TIME player.

Dude, you act like Puig will be slamming into walls every game for the next 5 years. A few wall bangings a season doesn't equate to a hundred of those same collisions a year in football. Give me a break. Let the man play baseball how he wants within league rules.

Oh yeah weren't 3 guys on the All Star team suspended for PED? Yeah Puig should have been on the team. All Star = joke

I love the guy's aggressiveness, but it scares me. It's not just hitting walls. I've seen outfielders hurt their ribs, sprain their wrists diving for balls. It's one of those tough things because you don't want to tell him to tone it down, but you also know that he can be an injury risk if he doesn't.

I like the guy because I get excited to see a special talent like this. I just don't want to see him go down the Griffey path where he's always on and off the DL.

I didn't say they equated. In fact, I didn't bring up football at all. YOU did. I simply stated that going balls out 100% of the time will get you hurt and likely shorten your career in baseball. You're the one who wanted to make the comparison to football, so that's why I pointed out the measurable difference in career length.

There's a reason guys don't run out every fly ball or grounder. You can get away with pacing yourself a little bit in baseball, and that's why so many guys can be productive deep into their careers. A 90-95% effort from Puig over 150 games is much better than getting 70 games at 100% because he separated his shoulder slamming into the wall or pulled a hammy trying to leg something out.

Exceptions to every rule, I suppose, and Charlie Hustle is certainly the most glaring.

It would have been really interesting to see how long Bo would have played if he didn't play football.

Come over to the dark side, Flop. Maybe we need to go hit up a Dodger game sometime.
