what the hell do the achievments get you? Like I said, im new to the whole xbox thing, to be honest I don't even have mine hooked up to the net.

Nothing tangible. Its more of a prestige thing.

Just kind of like a trophy for doing certain things in games. You can compare with friends.

2 of my buddies have it and LOVE it. They're trying to talk me into buying it but for soccer, it doesn't get better than Fifa Street

i wish i had the money to toss around and buy a game every week... unfortunately, i just purchased Halo 3 and my next buy is definitely going to be the Half Life orange box collection.

Going to go get it in a few. I dont really have the money, buti got some extra cash last week. I think after this. My next game is going to be Asassins' creed then i am done til GTAIV

not planning on pickin up bioware's "Mass Effect"? This game looks too good.

Next spring looks to be interesting with GTA IV, Left 4 Dead, Mercenaries 2, and a few others coming out. Maybe the "Spring drought" won't happen in 2008.
